Library
Journal Calls The World’s Fittest You “Highly
Recommended”
The
October 15 issue of the Library Journal gives Joe Decker’s
upcoming book The World’s
Fittest You: Four Weeks to Total Fitness (Dutton, 2004) a “highly
recommended” rating.
Library Journal reviewer Howard Fuller, medical librarian at
the Stanford Health Library affiliated with Stanford Hospitals and Clinics,
distinguishes The World’s Fittest You from the other
fitness books on the market. “Unlike many other fitness authors,
Decker is refreshingly honest, emphasizing that fitness takes hard work,
time and an ongoing commitment.”
Mr. Fuller goes on to say that Decker “…offers a scientifically
sound fitness guide that reads as if the author had taken principles
from a college exercise physiology textbook and condensed and repackaged
them into a program geared to the working adult.”
The Library Journal, considered the “bible” of
the library world, is published 20 times per year and read by over 100,000
library directors, administrators, and others in public, academic, and
special (e.g., business) libraries.
