The
Average (And Not So Average) Joe Workouts
Joe Decker
may be The World’s Fittest Man, but he’s just an average
guy who sometimes has a couple too many drinks and a bad day at work.
Just a few years ago he was fat and out of shape like the majority of
American males. But, through ana amazing personal journey Joe transformed
himself from fat to fittest by braking the 2000 Guinness World Records
“24-hour Physical Fitness Challenge.” Now, a personal trainer
and fitness expert with an upcoming book The World’s
Fittest You: Four Weeks to Total Fitness (Dutton, 2004), Joe believes
that working out should help you cope with the everyday events of life,
not be an end in itself.
“I’m
not some kind of gym rat – working out for working out sake can
be pretty darn boring,” he says. “My whole philosophy is
that workouts should help you deal with the everyday stuff, and you
don’t have to give up the things you like either.”
Decker
enjoys the occasional cigar, a few stiff drinks at the end of the week
and even a pizza on weekends. Whether it’s losing 10 pounds or
blowing of some steam at your boss, Joe says it’s important to
have a specific goal and stick with it. To cope with those everyday
problems, here are his AVERAGE (AND NOT SO AVERAGE) JOE WORKOUTS for
everyday guys that can be done at home or outdoors (no gym required):

HANGOVER WORKOUT
