A really fun, really dirty Two-Person Team race of about 6 miles - 3mi. running and 3mi. on bike for each teammate.
One bike per team (it can be any type of mountain bike, but the course will be a mix of off-road, grass, trails and pavement depending on the market). Both teammates start the race together. Each team is required to switch skills after each obstacle of the 5 obstacles. Oh, and there's a BIG mud pit several hundred yards from the finish.
SoCal Warrior Dash

Warrior Dash is the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes. This running series is held on some of the nation's most demanding and unique terrain. Participants will conquer extreme obstacles and celebrate their feat with music, beer, warrior helmets and muddy shorts. SoCal course is 3.08 Hellish Miles.
Every participant will go home with some sweet gear:
1. Warrior helmet, very appropriate for fitness class
2. Warrior Dash shirt
3. Custom Warrior medals
Joe Decker's Quivering Quads 5k & 5miler

Location: Start at Torrey Hills Community Park
This is an incredibly beautiful but challenging 5k or 5 Mile trail run through Penasquitos Canyon. In addition to climbing a couple hills, there will be mystery events along the way. It's an all-around good time!
Additional Information
It's fairly difficult but very doable if you hang in there. The entry fee covers your very cool award, coolmax t-shirt and beer/barbecue afterwards. There will be two age divisions. A Whipper Snapper (39 & under) and an Old Fogey (40 & over) division both men and women. King & Queen of the MOUNTAIN GOAT awards will be given to the winners of the 5 Miler. This event fills fast so get your entry in early!
