Joe Decker has been competing in Powerlifting for 23 years, Strongman Competitions for
10 years, and Ultra Running for about 10 years too (Joe's fitness resume). The daily and weekly workouts that he
utilizes are a combination of his years of Extreme Competition experience, high-speed
military background, top-notch college education, and rugged Mid-western farm upbringing.
In addition, this workout format is the same that he used to break the Guinness World Records® Twenty-four-hour Physical Fitness
Challenge
Twenty-four-hour Physical Fitness Challenge
in 2000. It works like no other program out there.
From Joe, "What is Fitness? Some say it's looking like a super model or having big muscles. By definition fitness is a mixture of cardio endurance, muscular endurance & strength, flexibility and body composition. This is the definition of fitness that I subscribe too, real total body fitness and not "pretty boy" fitness. This is what you will get from my workouts. My goal is to help you get in the most incredible shape of your life and stay that way using my very comprehensive and well rounded workout format. My grandfather always said, "The things we tend to value most in life are the things that we work the hardest to obtain."
"Long. Strong. Fast. Fit!" - Joe
Testimonials
“I joined Joe's workout group in March of 2007 out of shape and over weight. In the beginning everything was difficult, especially running stairs and hills. I never ran more then a 10K in my life and that was a very rare occasion. Joe's motivational style and ability to make me believe I can do anything encourages me to stick with it and see exactly what I can make myself get out of his class and how fit I can be. Joe helps me keep perspective on what is most important; fitness is about being healthy and it'll take hard work to get there but it's worth it! I'll admit, looking good is a welcome byproduct that comes from being healthy. Since joining a year and a half ago, I've lost 11% body fat, about 30 pounds excess weight and finished my 1st 50K earlier this year! I've stuck with this longer then any other fitness routine and it's not because it's been easy, it's because of the results.”

“Anyone can exercise and get results. Working with Joe compounds these results through his infectious charisma and ability to push you to levels you didn't know you could reach. I had the fortunate benchmark of getting a physical one month after starting Joe's program and again, one year later. My physician summed up my blood work as extraordinary. Each result revealed conditions for a healthy teenager, not a 34 year old man. I did the work to get to that point but Joe was always there guiding and encouraging..”

“Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? less than 2 years ago i ran 1 mile for the first time in my life...I'm 50 now i get up on Sundays and leg out 6 miles Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? on a Saturday when we have no class(everyday i have no class!) do i sleep in? no i go to the park and run Hell's Hill 10 times and Satan's Steps 10 times. Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? just to mix up the gym routine i bust out the "300 Challenge". boy is my back sore. Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? instead of merrily running 1 mile in the Quivering Quads i opt for the 5K and wind up carrying a weighted vest up the last hill. Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? while i could be in the comforts of the gym...I'm outside carrying 200# carcasses out of canyons, up hills or steps instead of calling AAA... I'm flipping 300# tires and having fun Who the Hell Introduced Me to Joe Decker? this is the guy who organizes numerous functions and parties to celebrate accomplishments of others that person needs to step up and be recognized...i just want to say thank you and buy you a drink and smoke a cigar...i owe you!.”

“I have been training with Joe Decker for over a year and it has changed my life!! I am 63 years old and was totally out of shape. Some of the people I work with had signed up for the program and they talked me into going . I will never forget the first day. Joe had us climbing stairs as one of the exercises and I could hardly get up the 89 stairs. Joe said "I don't care how you get up the stairs, but I want all of you to make it to the top" . I commented to one of my friends I don't know why I am doing this because I am so out of shape . Since I had signed up for 6 weeks, I decided I would see it through . That was a year ago I am still going. Now I can get up and down the the stairs more then once while carrying weights . I am not a runner, but I can even do some light jogging. The workouts consist of various exercises that are different every time and are never boring. I am so much stronger and my energy level is so much higher. Joe has been such an inspiration . He is so upbeat and he makes the class so much fun. The group we have is just the best !!! I am the oldest person in the group, but it has made me feel younger then ever. Joe always says "You get out of the work out as much as you put into it ". Being in the class always make me push myself harder. It takes a lot of effort, but it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself..”
